THE MOVEMENT OF TRUCKS IS RESTRICTED IN THE ODESSA REGION

According to the results of trading on the CBOT exchange on June 25, wheat futures fell to $199 (-$4) per ton, reaching the lowest level in the last 2 months, and quotations of European wheat on Euronext fell to the lowest in the last 7 weeks, amounting to 221 euros/t.

Prices were under pressure from the active pace of harvesting winter wheat in the USA. Additionally, recent rains in the Midwest are expected to have a positive impact on crop development. Improved weather conditions for the development of crops in the Russian Federation (rains in arid regions) also put pressure on prices.

In addition, the heat wave that will spread across Europe this week should cause significant damage to spring crops, but will have a positive effect on the development of winter crops.
